Johannesburg – Vodacom Business recently extended its Long Term Evolution (LTE) offering to cater for small businesses with Vodacom Broadband Connect LTE.

This service is ideally designed to support companies with up to four employees by providing affordable access to high speed connectivity, in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town at any time.

“To thrive in today’s competitive environment, businesses need to be scalable, connected and responsive,” said Ermano Quartero, the managing executive of products and services at Vodacom Business.

“Broadband Connect LTE enables small businesses to be ready businesses by providing high quality broadband connectivity to increase workforce productivity, improve customer relationships and support collaboration with colleagues, suppliers and partners.”

Broadband Connect LTE is a fixed wireless broadband technology designed to deliver internet access via a Wi-Fi router to personal computers, laptops, tablets and cellphones at speeds up to three times faster than 3G.

“Broadband Connect LTE is a game changer when it comes to how small businesses experience the internet,” said Quartero. “Its higher speeds of approximately 9Mbps and lower latency mean a more stable user experience.”

It also provided the capability for seamless Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), which resulted in up to a 30% saving on telephone calls.
